Back by popular demand, our Virtual Tasting Series will feature Oyster Wines in honor of our Oyster Bar pop-up.
We’ll be joined by Bruce and Daniel Vogt of Big Island Aquaculture as well as Barboursville’s Luca Pascina, Chatham Vineyard’s Jon Wehner and Early Mountain’s winemaker, Ben Jordan. In addition to an overview of the importance of place to both oyster and grape farming, we’ll taste three wines whose crisp fruit and citric character make them a perfect foil to raw oysters.

The tasting will feature:
Barboursville Vermentino 2019
Chatham Vineyards Church Creek Chardonnay 2019
Early Mountain “Pur” 2019

Oyster Bar Pop-up, March 25th-28th

We’re bringing the bounty of the Eastern Seaboard to you, paired with our award-winning wines for this special long weekend Oyster Bar pop-up. Oysters and seafood specials will be offered from Thursday March 25th - Sunday March 28th.

Chef Tim Moore will be offering delicious seafood specials (in addition to his full Tasting Room menu) and Big Island Aquaculture will be shucking their oysters, served on the half shell direct from the beautiful, pristine body of water nestled between the York River and the Mobjack Bay in Hayes, Virginia. Come enjoy live music (Sat. and Sun.), mountain views, and exceptional Virginia wines enjoyed in your choice of Tasting Room (indoor) or Patio reservations.
