Edible Insight: All Hallows’ Eve
DATE:
TIME:

Celebrate All Hallows’ Eve with an evening of pasta, wine, and a little culinary magic. This hands-on Edible Insight explores the craft of fresh pasta, from mixing and rolling dough to shaping it by hand, with a playful Halloween twist.

During the chef-led demonstration, Chef Tim will prepare fresh pasta from start to finish, exploring the fundamentals of pasta dough, mixing, kneading, resting and rolling, along with simple shapes and techniques that can easily be recreated at home. He’ll also demonstrate how natural ingredients like squid ink, roasted squash, herbs, and beet can create colorful and dramatic pasta doughs without changing the fundamental technique.

Then it’s your turn. Guests will move to their own stations to roll and shape fresh pasta by hand, experimenting with different shapes and techniques along the way.

The evening concludes with a seasonal family-style dinner featuring fresh pasta and autumn-inspired flavors, paired with Early Mountain wines.

And because it is All Hallows’ Eve, costumes are encouraged. Come dressed for the occasion, whether that means fully committed or just a little festive. Chef Tim will select the evening’s best costume, with the winner receiving a $50 Early Mountain gift card to return and enjoy in the Tasting Room another time.
