October is more than enjoying the Virginia leaves turning, pumpkin patch hunting and dressing up the kids for festivities - it is a time for fall festivals! Early Mountain Vineyards invites you and the little ones to our first annual Fall Family Festival celebrating Virginia Wine Month on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from noon to 5 p.m. Gather up the family for an afternoon at the vineyard while the little ones enjoy tractor rides, pumpkin decorating, a KaBOOM! Sponsored playground, face painting, warm apple cider and a tasty hamburger and hotdog stand.The adults in the family can savor flights of wine from Early Mountain and our Best of Virginia wine partners, as well as cider from local Virginia cideries and live music by the Downbeat Project. Children are free (includes tractor ride, face painting and pumpkin decorating) and adults are free. Adults 21 years old and up can enjoy wine flights for $10. Food items are items available for purchase from Early Mountain Vineyard's market featuring local Virginia purveyors. We look forward to seeing you at the vineyard as you take in the colors of Fall.
